Purpose

This class helps to:

  • Build confidence

  • Explore healthy foods

  • Use the senses

  • Practice teamwork and creativity

Welcome Circle

Everyone sits in a circle and talks about food, colors, and flavors. A short breathing moment helps everyone feel calm and ready to cook.

Food Exploration

Fresh ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and herbs are touched, smelled, and observed. Colors, textures, and natural foods are explored.

Cooking Time

The group works together to prepare a simple, healthy recipe. Washing, mixing, stirring, and assembling help everyone learn how food is made.

Mindful Eating

Eating slows down to notice flavors, smells, and how the body feels while enjoying the food.

Closing Circle

What was made is shared along with how it tastes. The experience ends by thanking the food and the group for cooking together.
